Ive searched and havent really found a solid answer. Ive found alot of info about running a 285/75/16 on stock obs trucks/suvs; with or without factory or aftermarket wheels.. etcetc.

But heres what im wondering, im looking at a set of BFG a/t 285/75/17s on stock NBS wheels.. i know that BFGs tend to actually run smaller then their said size. I wonder if theyll fit with minimal rubbage.. like i said, i couldnt really find any info on anyone running a 285/75/17 on stock NBS wheels on an obs. Btw, its going on a 96 stock Suburban

They'll fit. We can fit 35's on these trucks when stock wheels are used although they may need a small, teeny, tiny bit of crank/trim to clear. The 285's on NBS 17's will be fine without any modifications though.

285/75r16, if they are 1" taller for 17s that would only be 1/2" closer all the way around, mine is cranked but going to decrank soon

probably means 285/70r17, the a/t is not made in 285/75r17.

I had those on my 96 on oem 17's, fit easy no crank no changes just bolt up.

What about 33 1250 17? Would they fit with cranking and some trimming?

Does anyone run 305/70R16 with just a crank of the t-bars? They are pretty much the same height as 285's but are wider.
