Another LS thread

Hey everyone, looking for a little help on a 5.3/4l60e swap in a 1995 c1500.
I have all the gauges working with the exception of the speedometer.
I know I need pin 50 from the red connector, the 4k vss signal, but not sure what to tie it into on the the factory truck harness. I tried splicing into a speed sensor input wire in the connector behind the glovebox, but that didn't work.

Any help is appreciated!

Also, I had the tach working fine. Yesterday it stopped, I checked and have a signal going to the tach, so I am bit stumped. Possible the two are related?
The rest of the cluster appears to be working fine.
