I am replacing my engine in my 97 gmc k2500 it has a 5.7 vortec i am wanting more power without really much more than swapping it out i am looking at this engine http://www.high-performance-engines.com/chevy-350-vortec-base-engine-315hp-p/hp74.htm you can see the specs an everything here an heres the specs on the stock https://www.summitracing.com/parts/nal-12530283/overview/ do you think the stock computer would run it summit racing an a few more people say you can run it all stock but shim the crank sensor is all thanks

I put the same motor in my truck after I threw a rod through the stock one. Very nice stock motor. It is a replacement for the L31 block. I put all of my stock components along with an intake and exhaust upgrades.
