I have been having problems with the ABS light coming on on my OBS. My truck is a 1996 k1500 RCSB vortec5.7 and nv3500 trans.
The ABS light will come on and stay on till the truck is warmed up. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. Braking does not seem to be affected. It blew the big ABS fuse not so long ago. Haven't checked since then.
I like to do all my work myself if possible, so I took it to the Advance Auto parts in town and they scanned it (without the ABS light on) and there were no codes whatsoever. We tried with the truck on and off. Nothing. It was not a snap on scanner. Should I take it to like Napa? Has anyone has this issue. I am getting no SES or CEL just abs light.
