96 computer in 92??

Can you put a computer from a 96 Vortec 350 into a 92 Tbi 350? Will there be any sensors that have to be changed?

there is a chip inside the computer called a "PROM" it tells the computer what motor it is, gear ratio, what year the truck is, etc...

The vortecs have a completely different kind of computer then the tbi trucks.

You'll need a computer from a pre 95 truck with the same engine and trans combo as you have.
