Bored on my day off and just couldn't wait any longer I decided to take the tailgate in the booth and spray it to see how my two tone color combo looked. Solid color is the original Autunmwood dark brown. Center two tone is a GM beige for the 80s that was pretty much on everything for a solid decade. Shot the brown 1st and went over white sealer to lighten the tone a bit. Then added a little gold pearl in intercoat over the top. Taped off the two tone and came back in with the beige. Can't wait till tomorrow to see the pearls in the sun! Should be prepping the rest of the truck this coming weekend for paint. Still waiting on the cowl hood and intimidator wing for the rear. I'll snap some better pics tomorrow.
