Hole in the gas tank...
Try a TBI/TH400/4:10 combo :banghead:

Great looking truck.

Shame about the 4wd though!

Can't wait to see how this one goes!
 shhhh. I know the mileage with a TH400 will suck even worse, although this is 4:10s and 225/75R16s (tiny!). I love my 4wd. And I lowered my 02 which is 4wd.

God i want untouched unmolested rust free metal.
Dually looks amazing though
:bowroflwerd6:

Smokin' deal on a super clean truck! Congrats!
Just a little bit too tall though! Lol! And that's a lot of grey interior!
Wonderin' here you've been. Too bad you've put all that time & effort on moving & working on the new place seeing as you're gonna have to sell it now.
The garage is just too small. Need a place that that 'limo' will fit into!
Tall is fine. Actually taller. And I have plans for a shop out back.....

Oh don't worry. I bet a bigger trailer is in his future.
Negative. Slide in camper and car-trailer to drag the 88 around with.

Yea probably...now i get to go curse you and him....its been hard enough resisting getting a Dually.....
Doooooooooo eitttttttttttt

Thanks guys!

Welp, the deed has been done. Transmission is pulled from the truck, I'll have to get some pictures. Actually pulled a Getrag from a 90 1st gen Dodge cummins truck, it's getting a NV4500 as well. Was full day of transmission pulling!

Anyway, the trans was as expected inside, needs bearings and synchros. Had a good deal of metal in there. Gears all look fine. Clutch is getting replaced while I'm there.

Also went through a few things, here is the list of items that will be changed in the upcomming months:

- Rebuild transmission with new clutch
- New u-joints and carrier bearing
- Tune up - plugs, wires cap & rotor.
- Injectors. It has the famous leaky vortec injectors that hard start after sitting. Maybe higher flow and a tune.
- Replace broken glovebox
- Wire in trailer connector
- GMT800 towing mirrors
- Tint front windows
- Kodiak Handles
- Re-connect airbags (came with firestones but are disconnected)
- Paint the wheels
- New front lighting & Grille
- Repair/replace LH dually fender (cracked)
- Cut & buff truck, touch up scratches
- Toolbox

I have more things I'm ready to do but we'll leave those up to the imagination.
