Skylark, I hate to thread jack David's post but I have a quick question for you. How do you like those tires? I'm looking at getting a set for my 97 7.3 F250, but I'm worried it might be too much weight for the tires? What have your experiences been?

I've been quite happy with them. One of these years I want to swap them on the Alcoa's that I have.

Some time back (2015) I picked up a set of OEM fog brackets in the junkyard. I finally broke down and bought a set of new GM lenses for them. The goal was to run an amber HID in them for adverse conditions, well the HID hit the bulb shield inside. So a few hours of playing around led me to separating the lenses and moving the bulb shield forward. and HID is tight fit in these.

Then I had to get a valance to complete the look, and of course fogs and towhooks were never offered together to I had to cut my own holes for the fogs...

Not too bad, nice and low, wide light.

Looks great! Could you provide the part numbers for the lenses? I picked up a set of brackets, but the lenses were busted up and the housings were completely rusted away. I was planning on running some s10 blazer buckets, but wanted to find the original c/k lenses.

You forgot to turn on high beams and LED strip too.
Well the LED bar is now disconnected as I was using the wiring i originally intended for the fog lights, I have a bit more wiring to do to get it back to where It need to be.

The stock lens was used in a bunch of vehicles over the years, it's part number 16502945. Now, there are also assemblies for other vehicles with this fog light lens, I actually bought a pair of them off a pontiac grand am brand new for less than the lenses by themselves.

I bought a pair of those for $50 total shipped, the lens is the same you just toss the brackets.

If you only need lenses, this seems to be the best deal recently

FYI the buckets on all the current stock GM fog lights are plastic. Original GM buckets are cast metal. This is an OEM light but has the plastic bucket unlike my set i picked up used.
