8.25 inner axle.

Hey all, new to the forum not so much to these 88-98 k1500s.... im looking for a place that i can get the inner axle for the passenger side 1990 gmc k1500. Pulled it apart and where retainer locks in... well there is no place for it to lock anymore. Shot.

Ouch.. thank you. The guy who owned the pickup before me thought it was smart to crank up the torsion bar on the passenger side an not the drivers side.... one crooked lookin pickup.

Could a guy spot weld the axle to the gear? The retaining clip is rather pathetic. Personally dont see why not? The housing has to come off anyway if you pull the axle. And with a new bearing and seal should be trouble free.
