Hi!
I haf the front pump of my 700r4 taken out, when I reinstalled it, I forgot to install a big washer on the rear of the pump. Is it okay to go without or do I need to install it?
Thanks

You probably need that. A lot easier to put it in now than it is to take the trans back out if it screws something up.

I have no idea where it came from, i looked at images and the only similar rings i can find in the transmission are inside the pump. Could it be on the shaft from the converter to the pump?

Dosent that help guide the pump vanes. I think there is one on each side of the vanes. Surely it won't last ten seconds without it.

That washer is what sets your input shaft end play, yes you need that.
