overall its real easy, just make sure you asemble it with plenty of lube, that the parts are all in order, and that the snap ring is fully seated when complete

it should work, i would think the only difference between 2wd and 4wd would be the transfer case added to the rear of the trans.....

The servo applies the band which is applied in 2nd and 4th gear. The vette servo has a little more holding power on those two gears. Firms the shifts a little also. They make a Billet servo that is bada.. They aren't cheap, but we put them on all the high HP units and heavy duty trucks. The vette servo you can get at any local transmission supply house, or online. They are less that 10 bucks.

The vette servo isn't really that firm at all. A little firmer than stock, but definitely not slam your head into the seat firm. I'd say it's a good cheap mod. Love your name by the way. I'm class of 2014 A A A WHOOP!!!

i have been having an extra vette servo sitting around for a while now and hadnt put it in this transmission since i rebuilt it and went to install it today because i was also upgrading the tcc lock up solenoid and the 1-2 accumulator spring, so i figured id install it while i was there but i was short on time before dark becasue i started late, anyways im going to remove the front section of the exhaust when i try again because i just was a little to cramped, but its ironic that i just read this thread today
