2002 Tahoe sweet deal in hard times

Fuel gauge went crazy yesterday. Halfway to work it went to empty and the light came on. I had 1/4 of a tank. So I stopped and filled up and the gauge didn't move. Well got into the truck yesterday afternoon and everything worked fine. So I'm not sure what exactly is going on but it was fine today as well. Hoping nothing is going wrong because new cluster is close to $300 or so my price and the complete fuel pump system is about $221 my price.

Really wanting to buy the z71 springs but can't see spending the money on them right now as I'm not sure what my fuel system is doing.

Well didn't really like the Terra grapps so I picked up some 33x12.50r18 toyo m/ts today. 2 are half tread 2 are quarter tread. Only payed $150 for them so I figure why not. Hopefully have them on tomorrow.
Esky rack is on as well.

Well the toyos weren't as good as I thought. Trying to resale them now. 1 of them as some issues and the wear on then is worse than I thought. Very strange actually.

Hey man nice hoe. Are z71 springs supposed to be taller or something?
Edit: just went back through the thread and found the z71 spring thing. Cant wait to see it closer to level man, wish mine was blue.

Thanks. Yeah z71s would be a little taller for me. I've learned that I have one of the lowest rates springs that came on tahoe. I love the blue myself. Hopefully getting it painted soon enough.

Well I need new shocks for the rear. Bushings are wore out and it's got a death wobble over bumps on the interstate.

Got her all cleaned up yesterday. Used meguires wash and wax, Lucas speed wax, and mother M-Tech protectant. Came out looking fairly good.

Put a front ateering stablizer on it. Mine had the same issue, front shocks help but i finally said screw it and bought one.

Well it's weird. My death wobble is interested the rear. It wags like a dog if i hit certain types of bumps on the interstate at between 70 and 90 and occasionally bumps when I'm going about 50.
