Alright, I have been driving the truck for a while now. Any exhaust shop is wanting like 1400 dollars to connect it into the old Cat back exhaust. The manifold pipe is rubbing on the frame so they're saying I need headers. Has anyone dealt with this before? I don't care how loud it is, just need o2s to read right for now
$1400 ? What are they, on crack !! I paid $500 for my custom Y pipe to single exhaust 3". No cats. They made it with the cuts outs I had from the original 5.3 exhaust manifolds. I had slider LS mounts and my set up is like an 1" to 2" closer to the front. So I have clearance for the manifolds.

Been driving it for a while now. Fixing small things mostly. My tail lights would turn off when I pressed the brake pedal. Mostly though I'm waiting to figure out what I'm gonna do with the exhaust. After the exhaust, it's off to the tuners and I should have a completed truck. Anyways, I've talked to the guy I bought the engine and transmission from, and he wants me to swap a 5.3 into his 82 short box, so you might see some square body action soon too.

Brake light issue, try changing your brake light switch.

Update..exhaust is on. Having an issue where my o2 sensors arent reading right.
b1s1: 0.000v
b1s2: 0.000v
b2s1: .445v
b2s2: .445v

Not sure what is going on, i had the rear 02 sensors disabled so im not sure why b2s2 has a voltage reading. ive swapped 02's out, and still the same.

Tuner may have disabled the wrong O2's hence the readings. If rear O2's are deleted, you should only be getting readings for b1s1 and b2s1. Nevermind that, how's it driving ?? [emoji16]

Fixed by transferring the b2s2 to the b2s1 and B2S1 to b1s1. Runs good.

Heres an exhaust clip for now:

I'm getting it tuned next week, and I'm going to be doing some test hits with a 2001 firebird ls1 after that.
