I got my fingers crossed on passing. Worse case scenario I have to take it back out in September.
Summit is coming up pretty cheap for each part individually. I plan to stick with a single roller timing set, so I can skip that $200 double roller from Comp.
I'm just learning about polylocks and that seems like the way to go.

I may pick up a set of roller rockers, hopefully this won't be too much lift:

Hopefully it isn't an issue for you, that's a lot of time wasted if it is.

And I have those exactly rockers, they work decent and stock ratio is 1.7:1 so they're fine.

The only complaint that I have is they're kinda noisy.

I've heard of some modified rockers sounding like "sewing machines" haha.

Stock cam is like 206/208 .480"/.480" on a 116 LSA at God knows what ICL but most say it's retarded. One of the cams you posted was smaller. The 454HO cam has .510"/.540" of lift IIRC and I seem to recall a guy dropping one right in in the 454 thread on FSC. That said, I got different springs for my cam, a 212/218 .512/.527 114LSA 112ICL.

I'm going to be really interested to see how a cam swap affects your whipple'd 454. That thing is going to scream.

Going to 0411 swap that one too?

Do you think you'll have enough piston/valve clearance with that much lift? I like the specs of the cam you ordered.

Man, those bearings look like complete ****. It makes me wonder what caused that.

Let us know what the machine shop says, hopefully they can fix that. I don't have a lot of experience on re-using cranks so I don't know whether that can be fixed or not.
