Hi all,

I just bought a new (to me) truck today and it's like night and day difference from my 92 EC LB 350.
It has 101k, 454, 4x4, auto (4l80e I think), decent interior, and decently clean paint.
My old gmt was lacking power on steep grades when hauling my TB camper and pulling the bike trailer. The 454 should remedy this :D

Here's a few pics, re-sizing them to upload has been a pita and I'm tired, so maybe more tomorrow .

Looks awesome! I wish I had a truck with a 454/80E combo,
Any big plans? Or just slight changes and driving it?

Beautiful truck. I don't need a truck that big anymore but sure love the look of those crew cabs with drw.

BTW, your hood is open....

Man, that looks nice and clean! Sweet looking truck!

Read up on fuel injector swaps, hot start problems, and plug gap for the 454. There are few things that need to be taken care of to make it more reliable, but they're good motors. I love mine.

Nice K3500 you got there. I'm digging the 454. If its auto it's got the 4l80e
Thanks!

Initial plans:
  • Fix brake lights
  • Fix power door locks
  • Fix A/C
(I got the truck at a hell of a deal for the above problems)
After I fix the above I'll get started on:
  • Add a receiver hitch
  • Add tow mirrors
  • Add truck bed camper mounts to frame
  • Add Lance wiring to bed
  • HD door handles
After all that I'll be picking through 88GMCtruck's thread for bitchin mod ideas :Big Laugh::Big Laugh:

Thanks! I held on for the 2500 as long as I could, but the load I haul is too heavy, and my family is getting bigger

Oh that is a clean clean dually. The color I wish mine was..........
You know, I'm open to trade offers.:rofl:
The auto tranny is the only thing I don't like about it :naughty:

And thanks for the advice, I'll definitely read up on those. If it turns out to be half as reliable as my 350tbi, I'll be very happy.
