1998 Z71 Build

Decided I should document the build of my truck. I bought this truck a year ago. 98 K1500 z71. When I bought it it had a 3" body lift, 315/75r16 tires, and was straight piped.

Didn't do any mods for a while, had to tighten up the steering box and sent it.

First "mod" was replacing the old headlights. Picked these up for $68 off Amazon. I also blacked out my emblems and badges.

She works too! Although 3.73 gears and 35 inch tires don't work the best for hauling

So I found out that when flexing the rear end hard that the tires would rub on the fenders. Can't have that. Picked up some 2" blocks from Advance Auto.

She likes to play in the snow too (once a year)

She can flex good now!!!

So I replaced all my interior lights with LEDs. They look nice

I also put some switchbacks in the turn signals

Picked up a brush guard for 50 bucks.

Got some glasspacks installed. The shop did an amazing job welding

Did a upper ball joint flip so I had to get some 17 inch wheels. These are off a 2006 gmc truck. They'll look nice once they're cleaned up
