1998 k1500 SLT Frame Off Resto

hi everyone, here is the story, I have had this truck since 2000, bought it as an off lease. it was a Canadian truck modified at GFX in Winsor Ontario.

2 years ago I took off the nose and started to some freshening up. the next summer I was going to do the rear. the front went fine upgraded the front brakes new suspension parts etc..

the next summer was a different story. took it to my friends shop pulled the bed and saw a rotted bed and frame:

so now I need a frame and bed. so I decided to a frame off resto. got a good frame locally and found a bed in n Carolina with -0- rust:

the shop checked it for true, fixed the body mounts and shipped back to my house where I ground it all down and did 2 layers of POR15 Rust killer and Top coat. got as many OEM parts as possible, stainless steel lines, '04 Escalade 4 wheel disc conversion, 14bolt SF LTD slip rear upgrade, redhead steering box etc...

the shop swapped everything over for me and did all the bodywork. I changed the color to the 2016 sierra burgundy.
