Yes sir, they're cranked a tiny bit so I can clear my 275/70/18 duratracs.

How many threads are left on your bolts for the keys? I'm trying to figure out if I have stock keys cranked all the way

About 8-9 threads. But I do also have aftermarket keys which are not worth the money...

I have stock keys then, I have like 2-3 threads left on mine, I have 285/65/R16 and I don't rub, don't know how I feel about having so few threads left

Got another transmission in the truck this past week. I think that's three or four in less than 8k miles..lost count.

Upgrade to a 4L65E? 4L70E? 4L80E maybe? I'd be pissed as all get out if my truck kept killing transmissions;

Ideally I would upgrade to a 4L80E, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll have this truck. If all goes right, I should be in a 7.3 sooner rather than later.

The first few transmissions were due to shotty workmanship and the guy trying to cut corners. Just spent $2,200 on this transmission so we'll see what happens.

Wow cant belive i missed this thread. Mines been sold and bought back, 3 transmissions through mine.. i feel your pain, but mine has only had 20k miles put on it since i first bought it 3 years ago lol.
