I went to go start my daily driver, 1998 gmc 1500 with a 305 vortec, and it started making a clicking sound and would not crank over, I took the starter off to get it rebuilt, and got a new relay. I went to go start it and it was still making this clicking sound. It isn't the same sound when the battery is dead, but I am going to get the battery checked tomorrow.
I am a bit baffled, the only other thing I can think of is the ground wires from the battery are not getting a good connection. Is there any other suggestions out there?
