1997 k1500 transfer case

and i rebuild my 4l60e for $100 so im willing to invest a little more into this

How in the hell can you rebuild any transmission for a 100 dollar bill?

ebay, a rebuild kit was like $89 shipped, i already had things like corvette servos and a shift kit but the actual rebuild kit was cheap

There's basically nothing inside the transfer cases. A few bearings, some gears and a big chain. Oh...and a couple of selector forks.
Easy build though.
