6.5s aren't bad but I think for this application repowering it with a better diesel is probably the best route. With that being said I wouldn't mind owning another 15/25/3500 truck with one, just not a 3500hd!

a big turbo on a 6.5 will only cause problems.

How so? lowering drive pressure is a good thing.

Now if guys add too much fuel, then IMO problems will be had, but the OEM turbos are a little small and a bigger turbo would actually be easier on the engine if you keep stock fuel.
