Just got another truck from a close family friend who doesn’t need it anymore, so im selling this one.
For sale is a 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Extended cab short bed with the Z71 off road package. Has A/C, cruise, power windows, power locks, Silverado trim. This is an excellent truck. 227,000 miles on the odometer. Rebuilt engine has 40,000 miles on it, Jasper transmission has 35,000 miles on it.
It has a brand new ¾ ton 14 bolt semi-floating rear axle with 3.73 gears. Less than 1,000 miles on this axle. Professionally rebuilt, have the receipts. Included new brakes.
The brake system has been swapped to Hydroboost. This was done about 5,000 miles ago. This swap also included a brand new power steering pump and a new steering column switches and components, and a new brake master cylinder. Cruise control was overhauled as part of this process.
Has really nice alloy Ultra rims with oversize 285 75 R16 tires. Also includes 2 spares.
Catback dual exhaust with a glasspack muffler. Intake has a very nice AirAid cold air intake system.
I put in new iridium spark plugs and wires in February.
The blower motor was making noise, it was replaced in October. A/C blows cold, truck heats up right away, even on the coldest days. The old seats were worn out, I put seats from a late 90’s Chevrolet truck in it. Very comfortable. Also has a fancy digital rearview mirror with compass and temperature readout.
The truck has a 12” sub in a concealed down firing box under the backseat. Rockford-Fosgate 900 watt amplifier, Pioneer 450W subwoofer.
Has a Sony CD changer under the drivers seat, and new Sony dash speakers, 3 year warranty with receipt.
¾ ton 5 leaf rear springs were added in fall 2011
The fuel pump was replaced in July 2011
the steering gear, idler arm, pitman arm, ball joints, tie rods, etc have less than 20,000 miles on them.
Truck also has a new grille, and a Luverne grille guard. Comes with tons of extra parts, passes emissions with flying colors.
The body isn’t perfect, has some dings dents and scratches. But nothing that hinders the operation of the truck.
