My truck is a 1994 c1500 Cheyenne standard cab fleetside 4.3 w/4l60E.
I found a truck that still has it's transmission and transfer case. It's a 1994 k1500 standard cab stepside with the 350. It should have no problem bolting up. I know most people would just try to tear it down and change the tail shaft. But I though about leaving the transfer case on and set it up so i can have 2wd with low range. I drive off road pretty frequently. I'm planning on getting a lunchbox locker and moving my rear gears up from the 3.42s to 3.73s. anyone know what my best bet on the trans and transfer case is?

just pull the trans tcase and rear driveshaft from that truck if it works and its cheap. but 2 low seems like it would be pretty useless. if your stuck in 2 hi your gonna be stuck in 2 low. i have a 4x4 and usually only use 4 low to pull wagons out of fields and people out of snowy ditches.
