Im going to get the fitting and ditch that valve hopefully my brakes will feel better.

Hmm I might have to try this, I've never really had problems with my brakes other than the drums making a lot of noise. Didn't know it was a big deal!

I just did this mod and now I can't bleed my rear brakes. I tried ordering a new proportioning valve but I can't find one on line or auto parts stores. The parts tech said they're discontinued at a dealership

might need one of the depressor tools to shove the prop valve back in, or just pop the rubber boot off and try to move it.

I just did this Saturday!! Probably the best thing I have done to my brakes!! They feel so nice and tight now!!!
