1 ton rear bumper bracket question

I have a question about rear bumper brackets. I have a 93 C3500 2wd and it does not have a rear bumper. LMC lists different brackets for the rear bumper..is this true? Do I need to find a 1t for the bumper, or will a 3/4t work as well?

3/4, 1 ton and 1/2 ton all work. suburban and tahoe are different. or so i thought. i looked it up also. seems like "A" or B" are what you need but i don't see a B listed. 3/4 is all that's listed. .

I didn't even think of that when I swapped my rear bumper, good thing I kept my brackets

on the c2500, they are even different between short & long beds.

I would be a betting man that it only makes a difference if you plan on using the bumper to tow. if your using a frame hitch then it shouldn't matter.

Thank You. I just want a bumper on my truck..lol. The truck was originally a cab/chassis. and now it has a std bed.
