Using PTFE tape or Teflon tape on metal fuel line fittings?
I can't find a M16X1.5 Male or female to barb that come with an "o ring seal", other than female pair at Leroy Diesel which is $28 after shipping. I need one female and one male. This is to be used behind fuel filter only (at LP) on a 6.5l K3500. Could these tapes be used as a substitute? The...- Angelo

LP bypass to Walbro FRB-5
For a 1996 6.5L, I got the LP relay harness from Leroy diesel that "bypasses" the ops, and plan on switching the fuel pump to this Walbro FRB-5. I found Leroy diesel also sells this LP bypass kit - but all it is 2 connections for the hard lines to a 3/8 barb and it'd run $29 after shipping. Does...- Angelo

Tapping into fuel line behind lift pump?
I need to connect a 12v diesel inside of my ambulance build which is a 1996 K3500 with the 6.5. It runs on 12v and diesel fuel and has it's own fuel pump, and will only consume 0.1-0.35 liters/hour according to spec although I haven't tested that. Lift pump question
I have a question. I have a 1999 Chevrolet K3500 cab, and chassis. The lift pump is not transferring fuel. From what I've read here, the lift pump transfers fuel when it sees a 25% difference in ohms between the level transmitters. The rear reads from 0-90 ohms.
