4.3 Vortec idle issue

High idle switch 6.5 diesel

I have a 6.5 diesel, I’ve seen people make high idle switches for them, but I guess they buy pins from gm(or used to) to plug the wire into the pcm. My question is, can I just make my own pin? Can I just basically push the wire in? Does anyone have a couple gm pins I can buy? I appreciate it

Random shutdown/IAC goofiness

Howdy fellers. I'm about to drag up a very tired subject, so be prepared ;) My K2500 (1995, TBI, 7.4) Has been giving me some very frustrating issues as of late. Seemingly without warning, it'll shut itself off. Can happen at an idle, or when I'm coasting to a stop, or even under light...
