I know a lot of people think (some quite vehemently, including @Schurkey :)) the 10 bolt is crap. But I also know many who think it, at least the big 8.5" 10 bolt with 30 splines and big 1.32" shafts (which are not necked down at the splines like the 1.28", correct?) and big bearings, is a good...- Horntoad

93 C1500 rear brake drum to caliper conversion help
I have a 1993 2WD extended cab, original owner, 350 5.7L truck custom built from the ground up. Noted it has a static 3/4 drop I added 15 years ago. I currently want to switch my rear 10 bolt axle’s factory drum brakes over to a disc brake setup. 2 things I’m not very knowledgeable about are...- Ryline
