    i do have a 1 1/2" block that i was thinking bout putting on and decranking when i do the BL. honestly the cvs as of right now arent to bad. but I know I could get better front end life with a little less crank.

    Bouncing bed.

    I still havent been able to get enough down time to check due to work. running us like sweat shop due to summer approaching (work in a insulated glass plant). Its just a problem Ive never encountered before and it kinda has me stumped. good thing its only a 4 mile round trip to work and back.

    It did it before the I turned the drums and put the shoes on. Ive replaced shoes before on other trucks I have owned and never had a problem with them. As far as them being turned down to much, I took the drums to napa to have the resurfaced and I never had a reason to check tolerances before...

    Sorry didnt reply sooner. OT at work. front brakes are good. master cylinder was replaced by previous owner before i got the truck. the rear brakes dont lock up, the back end of the truck feels like its bouncing up and down if I brake at higher speeds to come to a stop. country roads out here...

    97 Chevy Headlights Just Cut Out Randomly....Anyone heard of this?

    Im having a similiar problem with my 97 z71 ec but my high beams when turned on will switch back to low then running and the green light signal on the dash will turn on. After a minute the highs will click back on by themselves if I dont release. Will the above suggestions fix this?

    Hey, new guy here. love the forum and all the info ive found so far has got me itching to put some tools to my truck. its nothing special just a stock 97 gmc z71. picked it up cheap but it runs good.
