New Engine, no start with ignition switch

Replaced the Hulks 312,000 mile engine after it started knocking... drove it in the shop with the knock... installed new GM crate engine. Engine won’t start with the ignition switch, will start if switch is on run and I touch a test light to the crank fuse or yellow ignition switch wire...

The Hulk passed

300,000 miles.... 302XXX now Bad news my 16 has 19,820 and has the dreaded lifter failure... Dropped it off this morning and the dealer called and said they hope to have it back to me by the end of next week.....

97 k1500 heat

So what is supposed happen when you adjust the heat control knob.. Is it electric or vacuum ? Summer is here and mine is stuck wide open on heat

This is my Green 97 OBS extended cab 5.7 4X4 I've had it three years and is still the way I bought it from a friend, has 265,XXX miles 16" Centerlines that have seen better days with 305/70's No idea how its lifted.... One reason I'm here It is currently being prepped for new paint... Should be...
