97 gmc automatic its leaking transmission fluid out of the driver side of tranny I belive it out of the shifter linkage seal only place I can see any fluid my question does it leak more when the trucks running in drive? or what cuz after it sits for awhile it wont hardly leak few drips

locating wire for brake controller install

5.7 1997 k2500 coolant leak

so I got a coolant leak I checked oil on dipstick looks good I've let the truck cool down completely and take the radiator cap off no bubbles I've even looked in reservoir when truck is warm up no bubbles. no heater core leak floor is dry. the rate of coolant I am loosing is very small maybe...

brake issues 97gmc

so once in awhile when im driving and im apply the brakes it breaks like normal but just before I come to a complete stop I get a grinding sound to almost wheel lock up I suspect its time for new brakes? my abs warning light been on since I got it ive had it since xmas and it just started doing...

fuel milage

what kind fuel milage yall getting I got a 97 gmc sierra K2500 4x4 single cab with a 5.7 Vortec motor stock truck with 2 leave spring helpers in back 265/75/16 tires. I get between 10-12 mpg and a lil over hundred thousand miles on motor over 224thousand on truck is that bad or good the fuel milage?

oil leak

I got a 97 gmc sierra 2500 4x4 with a 5.7 vortec motor it has a oil leak from the front driver side of the motor I was wondering what could possibly be leaking oil from that side? its got a brush guard/steel plate that's coverd in oil dripping off it on driver side it be until the weekend until...

on my truck it will blow heat in all setting just the same as if having the vent on but it will only blow faster if its on high what could cause this bad switch?
