    Doing brakes I found wheel bearings were bad....needed to use friends car to get parts .....dude. I hate Ford and mustangs but damn....this this was sick to drive!!!!

    But the bullet and finally got new rims and tires..... She's on 40" tires now. 40x13.5r17 procomp mt2 and procomp rims .....freaking out hoping they fit. $3000 out the door for tires, rims and lugs

    thought I'd give an update.....ain't been on here in a long time. Just rebuilt rear of truck. New leaf springs, helper springs, brakes, drums, diff cover and traction bars to help with axle wrap

    i ran into something like this a few years ago when i swapped to tow mirrors. i have the wiring written up on here somewhere. there should be a post by me all about wiring them to work properly with factory switch. i can tell you it is doable, mine work prefect still to this day.

    i found the bleeder on the abs unit and brakes work better than ever now. i took the truck to rednecks with paychecks and jumped it.....it took it! but pulled a friend out of the mud and blew my front axle in half! ill post pics when i can.

    sounds like you need to sell yours and just buy another gmt400 with the 6.5 turbo diesel. it would meet all your needs of what you said you are looking for. there are guys out there getting great fuel mileage with them.

    does anyone know if my snap on brick, mtg2500 will do the abs bleed? i tried and couldnt find it. i also tried with an alltell scanner at work and couldnt do it. is it tech 2 only? or will bleeding the abs then the brakes all i gotta do now? i feel like id still have to bleed the abs?
