The Stupid Axle Questions Thread

This truck hasn't had too much thought put into the drivetrain, only non-stock parts are a 6" procomp lift and 285's. Sounds like just a cv axle. It stopped the clunking for the time being and is now to a squeak and almost a 'rubber on rubber' squeak sound. A little ticking too. It is just...

Quick question to anyone with experience with this problem. When I turn my wheel and start to move the truck (either direction) there is a loud 'clunk' sound that feels like it is once a revolution. I am thinking it is a cv axle going bad or already bad. Just need some advise from anyone who...
