    The upper parts was al bent to sit cause I got the doors from a truck that was rolled over that's why I cut them. Had no glass or anything but I know what u mean

    So has anyone done half doors on there truck yet. I am about to start a set for mine. Can't find any build on our awesome body styles. Only have found Toyota and jeep so I'm gonna have to go off that. Input is greatly appreciated.

    build a beefy cross member to bolt in where the torson bar cross member was that way you can always move if need be

    Move them in farther n use a him joint on the ends so if there is some angle to them it won't matter. Plus they r stronger and able to be rebuilt

    id buy it n take everything off front clip bed etc n remove everything he did strip both axles down to nothing n start fresh get new perches n hangers. between buying the truck n fixing it n doing it right u will be under 5 grand unless u do some mods along the way

    For my upper I went to where the torsion bars went to that cross member and I welded some 3/8 steel to it for a good flat surface and use it over again. I have no binding what so ever and have plent more to go when I go with more travel one day. And for ur pan hard bar it has to be the same as...

    yea i have. got me a eaton ho72 i am doing disk breaks and truss and clean up then i am doing a 4 link rear with coils as well. i could run air shocks or coil overs but i like to be different. lol

    when i ground my old ifs brackets off i put some plate steel over to give a cleaner look and a nice flat surface.

    no the swap wasn't hard at all. a friend had a donner truck. took trans and slave. all chevys 88-98 have the sheet metal already stamp so all u have to do it cut and drill holes. n everything bolts up. i used DOM. same as a roll cage.
