6.5 turbo diesel extra horsepower question

I have done almost the exact same thing. I currently have Hx35W, 2150 psi calibrated 6.5 turbo injectors, 6.5 turbo IP with fuel screw turned 3/8" (maxed out), all on a 6.2 bored .020 over. 20 psi boost max with 5-12 cruising. ARP head studs (these are a must) and I'm still blowing gaskets...

Rough idle, occasionally dies while driving, running out of ideas....

I say ignition module. They can fail slowly, usually when hot. They can also fail on the low rpm side and not the high rpm side.

    WTB 6.2L diesel crank

My truck decided to turn its crankshaft into the not-so-wanted two piece model. So I need another one, must be in one piece. I'd prefer it to be perfect. NIB or near new. I can get a reman unit with new bearings for $277 shipped, but it will be turned down on rods and mains 0.020". To get new...

Screams 90's but I's love to have this truck

"Rare" does not equal "expensive". I wouldn't buy it unless it was to help a dear friend, but it d@mn sure wouldn't be at that price.

I have no idea what this is

I think the bumpers ruin that whole truck.

    Manual Swap Advice?

I would agree that the pedals is by far the hardest part. That is because the clutch pedal bracket was not installed on automatic trucks and you would have to pull the dash to properly install one. 92-93 NV4500s were made of one design. The 94+ NV 4500s were made to similar design as the Dodge...

    Nasty Evap Core

With a plugged up evap core, the blower motor was working extra hard trying to create airflow. Also, I believe the airflow helps keep the blower motor (and coil resistor pack) cool. As for why it's hot now, probably resistance because of the loose connections.

85 C10 zip tie and duck tape special (long term project)

Damn good looking body, hardly any bad rust that I can see. That was a good call saving that truck.

    Gah!!!!! Gross!!!

Thinking more about it now, maybe the scrapyard would take it, just to put the gmt400 out of its misery.

    Gah!!!!! Gross!!!

I'd be hard-pressed to give him $1 for it. I think that even a scrapyard would turn him down.

Totally lost ---- have searched and searched and can't figure out my miss

I would definitely have the ICM checked. They can go bad in a variety of ways. They can fail for low rpm or high rpm check. Also, they can work perfect cold and mess up when hot (on either high or low rpm). When you take it in to check it, take a look at the lights on the tester. I believe there...

    Truck acting up again. Electrical.

Have you checked the main lug on the starter to see if it is loose or corroded?

    Yall just might puke

lol. I was thinking something like "Most Ridiculously Stupid Custom Work" I think it's even more funny that the owner thinks the rims are worth more than the truck itself.... I wouldn't take them if they were free, except maybe to destroy them and sell for scrap weight.

    Lift Laws For Your State

There are emissions tests in Davidson County and the surrounding counties. Counties that make up the Nashville area. The rest of Tennessee needs not give a d@mn about emissions.
