LQ4 nv4500 k1500 swap questions
I have two parts trucks. One...a 2003 GMC 2500hd gas and the other a 1996 k2500 gas 350 vortec with a nv4500. I want to swap in the lq4 and the nv4500 into my 1997 rcsb k1500 that currently has a nv3500 and v6. My questions are... 1. Other than any part I would need from one of these trucks...- turkeyneck29

Engine idol problems NEED HELP
idk if im posting in the right area but here it is. I have a 97 k1500 with a newly installed 98 4.3(out of s10) in it. The engine runs great but the idol is very messed up. As soon as i turn the truck on it goes straight to 2500-3000 rpms then within 5-7 seconds slowly drops down to 700-1000...- turkeyneck29
