    Wire connection problems?

    The original harness and bulkhead connector was burnt he plastic housing was burnt and melted into the wire metal pins. We think that the previous owner installed something that caused it to burn. or Debris got into the Harness or metal flakes, something caused it to spark but we are not sure...

    We are rewiring out 1989 Chevy k1500 truck. We have the orginal wire harness but connecting to a different year. We are not sure which wires connect to which wires. We have connected all the same colors with each other and have eneded up with colors from the new harness that dont match any wires...
