The Stupid Engine Questions Thread

This has probably been ask on this thread. But I can't take the time at work to scan 30 pages. My truck has the L05 and been thinking of swapping to the vortec L31 is there anything I need to know like the oil pressure switch is different or that plug is different

Hey guys I have a 91 K1500 350 with the NP3500. I have run up on a "LT1" but has a carb on it. I just wondering. What all mods would have to be done. My old 350 is tiring and I could rebuild it myself. I just don't have the time to remove, rebuild, and put in. It would take weeks to do that as I...
