Welcome to the forum, I also have a 2000 C3500 that I converted to a dually with 350 and 4.10 gears, I agree, it gets down the road better than expected

Good idea, I’ll take a close look in the morning. I’ve been all over that rear end when I swapped it and did the brakes, so anything is possible

I got them for Christmas, I never would’ve bought them myself (or any tails since my old ones still worked). But now that I have them, I love them. I fixed my circuit board issues by buying TYC boards from O’Reilly, someone on here, I think @Dropped88, mentioned he’s never had an issue with...

It’s not that bad once you get in there, you just have to dedicate 3/4 of the day to working on them Passenger side works maybe too good, even though it doesn’t mean much these days, both wheel cylinders and springs and shoes on both sides are new, as are the wheel seals.

    1990 K2500 Better Days Ahead

Back when I did my headliner, I used a forum post on here from @sewlow to guide me through it. It gave me amazing results especially since it was my first headliner I’ve ever done.

And finally, the loudly squeaking windshield wipers and the windshield washer not working. I removed the cowl, cleaned everything I could get to, lubed the wiper linkage pivots and removed the nozzles and have them soaking in CLR to get them completely unclogged.

And then the steering, it was getting to the point of being difficult to keep on the road due to loose steering. I found no loose or worn steering parts, so I suspect either the steering gear and / or steering shaft rag joint. I went against my better judgment and adjusted the gearbox, which...

Next, the rear brakes; Since I replaced everything on the rear axle brake wise, the passenger side rear brake has been grabbing first and releasing first when braking, which makes it lock down for a split second. Again, another thing I ignored for a while, until the other day I was trying to...

Since this thing is becoming more dependable than my 1.5 year old SUV (long story), I have been driving it more, which motivates me to attempt to fix some of the quirks on it. First, I had a loud squeaking when I turned the steering wheel. I then remembered the broken grease fitting on the...

Had to stay home from work today because we had contractors replacing our sub floor, so I took advantage of the home time. I had really only intended on removing the passenger seat and the console, but once you get started, it’s hard to stop. I wound up getting the old seats out and the 60/40...

Yes, after reading up on fiberglass repairs on many Corvette sites, I've learned that you have to treat SMC fiberglass different than regular fiberglass. Here's where I started on my truck, start from post 1113 https://www.gmt400.com/threads/600-2000-c3500-cclb.49519/post-1227949 Amazon...
