    Hello all, previously my truck was starting to shut off randomly. This morning I woke up to go to work and it wont even start. It cranks but doesnt turn over. The last thing I did was disconnect the battery terminals, and retighten them. I am fairly certain it is an electric issue...

    I disconnected the battery terminal, the two rings surrounded by red plastic. I saw no acid, just metal to metal contact. do i have to cut the plastic off to get to the potential corrosion? it did seem a bit loose, i could hear it connecting and disconnecting, after barely any bolt loosening.

    thank you guys for your detailed responses. I will check out the battery cables. I also found a damaged ground to the firewall. Since disconnecting the aftermarket lights I have not had the issue, but it will probably happen again... i will post back with updates, thank you guys.

    also, it goes from open to closed loop. however, one of my CAT sensors has a bad heater. I got a code for it. No way the sensors are coming out though, I tried my best.

    Hello all, I am trying to determine whether my fuel pump is bad. 1997 k1500 5.7. I am not sure how to read the fuel pressure gauge. I have read that my pressure should be 60-66. Here is a video. Thanks for any info.

    My truck has been shutting off when in park idling, or coming to a stop. I am guessing its the fuel pump. Is it supposed to sound like this? I ordered a new one and I am hoping the pump is the culprit, and not something unknown. Thanks for anyones opinions or advice on this!

    oil pressure at cold idle is around 40-45, warm idle is around 20. cruising warm is around 40-45. assuming my oil pressure gauge is accurate.
