Whining alternator on my ‘94
New Belt. The tensioner is very strong, possibly overly strong, but I’ve heard many people say the tension is high on these. The other pulleys seem to be fine, but I’m going to check them again. Would you suggest anything other than just spinning them by hand?- TruckerDad23

It’s definitely the alternator itself. I can remove the single-wire plug and the noise stops.- TruckerDad23

I’ve read through the threads about whining alternators here and had no luck so I figured I would post my own. When I got my 94 the alternator was whining(it stops when you unplug the connector with the brown wire). Instead of replacing it right away, I bought a new set of diodes and replaced...- TruckerDad23
