    It has an oily feel to it and does not evaporate. It is there weather or not I am using my AC. No smell at all. I’m going to check the front dif fluid level tomorrow when I have time.

    Yea, that came out wrong. Meant no lanolin smell on my drip, but there was a strong smell on the lanolin at the shop.

    Definitely not the Woolwax. There is the lanolin smell and slightly darker color. Viscosity is a little bit thinner.

    It’s black on the chassis, and some clear under the hood, like on the firewall. But if that’s the substance, I don’t get why it took two weeks to start dripping… about the time that the black stopped.

    I’m going to drop the skid plate and check the fluid level in the diff and see if it is the same this evening. It’s too damn hot to go bow hunting.

    Thanks to all that replied. The garage floor has the residuals of the woolwax undercoating and some chicken poo. Here is a pic of the fluid on a piece of glass. No smell at all. I continue to monitor the levels.

    Need help identifying a leak. The fluid is clear. I initially thought it was break fluid but it has no smell.
