Best adhesive to use ?

What would be the best to mount this in my cluster, pretty sure it will be pinned behind the clear plastic but don't want to hit a bump and it drop or move, taking suggestions and the reason, just old piece of Luan board

Starter interchangeable info

Was with my brother in his 06 GMC with the 8100 gas engine, starter acting up, I crawl under it, and smack it with a hammer, started up drove back. He ordered a new one online, Remy I think, I went over to install it, taking the bad one off, it was a big old one like you would see on a 65 V-8...
