    No Brake lights? 3rd brake light DOES work?

    So on my 97 Chevy 2500 I have no brake lights, running lights and turn signals work fine, the 3rd brake light works fine. I unplugged the trailer wiring just to test it, and still no brake lights. Just the 3rd brake light, signals and running lights. Any ideas?

    Vortec 454 getting hot at idle... fine while driving.

    So everyone, my vortec 454 runs around 210, always has. Recently it started getting hotter, (230-240) when at idle. But goes back down to 210 once I start driving again...... Water pump was replaced in 2011, bought it from AAP, but it could possibly be going bad. What do you guys think...
