Anyone installed aftermarket distributor in 7.4 with TBI?
I've ordered a pertronix bundle https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pnx-bundle004 to go in my 7.4. I've replaced 2 ignition control modules in the distributor and am sick of it. The question is, pertronix says it's plug and play for the 93 C3500 but there directions doesn't mention crap about...- david71

Rattling/whirring sound when decelerating?
Yep, installed the bearing spacer and wedge under the leaf springs. Will do that this evening when I get home. Just strange that it only does it under deceleration. Figured if the driveshaft was wonky it'd be doing it constantly.- david71

Rattling/whirring sound when decelerating?
Been in the process of refurbing a 93 C3500. Lowered it and haven't driven it due to prepping for paint. Took it to get the windows installed today and noticed a whirring or rattling sound when I let off the accelerator. Sounds perfectly fine otherwise. No vibrations that I can tell. Wasn't...- david71

Yeah, I thought about sticking with the 16s but I really need to get the scrub line up. If I have a blowout on the front the lower control arm is going in the pavement. That's really the biggest reason for the larger wheels. And yeah, the slosh tubs have a mild tub that raises it 2-3 inches...- david71

What do you mean it's not an effective way? This is my first truck so it's an honest question. I have no problem installing different tubs but if there's some other reason behind it let me know. I've basically resurrected this truck from the dead so sheet metal and body work isn't an issue.- david71

I guess i should restate I started with a 6/8 kit from belltech. I took another almost 2" from the front springs to get more rake. There's about 1" between the tire and tub.- david71

Belltech Spindles
Hey, First post but have been lurking for some time. I'm building a 93 C3500 and pulled a set of Belltech 3600 spindles off a week ago. Belltech's website says 3700 is the part for my truck so I ordered them and there is no difference at all in the spindles. Anyone ran in to this that can give...- david71
