    What have you towed lately

    I just towed my hydraulic dump bed 1ton dually 89 dodge ram w/ 5.9 6bt ctd on 18 foot trailer ( about 12,000lbs) using my k1500 96 suburban 6.5td . All week Ive been moving machine shop equipment. Besides the lack of power(and thats not even that bad) you barley notice the weight its towing.

    40 is still a great number warm. I have a new forged 383 with hi flow oil pump . I only see 65lbs hot. My motor has 1 hour run time. Be happy that says allot about your motor its healthy. Most of these motors only have 15 20lbs hot.
