    seems to be staining on the glass, i was rubbing on it with my finger and it looks like it may be starting to go away, the odd thing is it looks like its on the inside but im rubbing the outside

    it is the smoked glass just like my 98 has, it has a opposite discoloration like mirror sunglasses sometimes get if you get oily finger prints and that area gets dark, these went gray streak about 3"wide from top to bottom, i have not tried any cleaners on it to see what effect that has

    i just picked up a 99 crew parts truck and the rear door windows on both sides have a gray streak down the dark tint on the outside, us there a way to fix that?

    ok guys i'm going nuts here 98 k3500 6.5 diesel, i disconnected both the wiring to the front and rear lights so i know its not a short from the firewall to the lights, i replaced the neutral safety switch so its not that, i took out the shifter interlock so its not that solenoid, it only blows...

    you really only have 2 places to go wrong, a bulb is burned out or the switch on the diff is bad, most likely the bulb is the issue, its a 194 bulb and they do sometime just have a bad connection in the socket

    i know there is a way as a buddy had done a sas with a cummins swap and kept his nv4500/borg warner in a 95 crew, high angle driveline will probably be your best bet, jesse has great prices and should be able to get you anything

    stock 52's with no overload give 4" over stock 47's,using a stock 47" spring gives you 3" and then ord sas brackets give you 3" so 6" total for a stock 73-87 front spring sas, so using a stock 52 with no overload should put you at 10" now motor weight plays a part, if you have a big block then...

    depends on how high you are going, with 4" springs i had to trim ears, with the lift on the current truck there is no chance of it ever getting in the way(8" lift 52" rears up front with a add-a-leaf for more spring rate)

    sas with a d44 is no stronger than the 1/2 ton ifs, the jeep axle makes it even harder to make work on a low lift, just makes more sense to leave the ifs
