    TPS percentage wobbling

    I hooked up a scan tool today and noticed that, at idle, the TPS percentage wobbles between 0% and 0.4%. I replaced the TPS, with no change. Has anyone else experienced this? I heard someone else say the connector might need to be replaced. What do you all think?

    I know I have voltage on the signal side and I know the pump runs fine when jumping it and I know I have good fuel pressure. I tested the relay and couldn’t get it to not work So … I’m thinking it’s a bad connection.

    Pump is fine. Engine is acting on backup signal from oil pressure sender. It’s going to be either the connection or the relay. My money is on the connection. If anyone can help me determine the right replacement pin to get that would be helpful.

    Stock exhaust, would like to upgrade to headers on a budget. What should I look for on Craigslist and Marketplace? I am not seeing any headers coming out of a pickup, so how do I know which ones will fit? Also, what’s the difference between short tube and long tube headers, performance-wise?

    5.0 engine knock on start up only

    My Nissan did this. It turned out to be inadequate oiling at the timing chain. It would only do it when cold, not when at all warm or driven that day. The inadequate oiling was due to worn bearings, which also caused a rod knock. But this knock surfaced only at 3-4k rpm.

    Do you need to flip the fuse box upside-down to get at the connectors? I imagine I won’t have enough wire to pull them from the box right-side up.
