Post engine install short.
Following up on the short. Fixed the starter wire and was still having issue. Long story short the hot wire to the battery wasn't making contact correctly so the alternator couldn't properly charge the battery. Thanks for the help everyone. Post engine install short.
I just checked the starter wires. Looks like it touched the header and melted a bit at some point. But it's not touching anything to arc out. Definitely a problem that I'm addressing but if that's not touching it shouldn't cause that right?- Danmoreland

Before the swap I had no major issues and honestly would've kept the motor except found a weld on the back holding on the ear on the block for the starter. I have a 89' C1500 have to replace the 350 that's currently in it do to a crack in the back of the block I found while I was about to change the clutch. 89' stepside
So I recently was given a truck my my grandfather he purchased it New and has been setting a while. It has the stepside bed but no bolts to secure it to frame. I think regular bed bolts are m12x1.75.
