    Thanks, Realy I wanted to do a stroker anyway. It just realy cranks me up that I payed more than I wanted for a "good low millage" LQ4 with a warentee and ended up with a POS that they bassicly told me F U. And so Phase II of my project begins in reverse order.

    I just did the 6.0 route. I feel it was a good choice, Im getting at least as good milage and more power than the 5.7 (stock tune).It was more work upfront for sure. But in no way what I would call hard.

    Update well the relern did not take. the dealer had so many excuses why the couldnt or wouldnt do it was un real. Im most likley going to get the Auto cal from Black Bear and be done with it.

    Thanks, I found the Left bank miss/exhaust pop. It was a cracked plug on 3#, as for the cam code I can clear it & if it starts up right off it wont comeback for a few miles. I will try and get it in for the relern this week and go from there.

    I would do this swap again in a miniute. In reality the wiring was not bad at all!! Not as easy as charging it but well worth not droping a grand when all the parts are right there !! I would most likley just buy the mounts as in the end they took a bit of time to get just right and $60 to $65...

    I have the CMP sensor code cleared up! I had the plug wired like the 5.7 It needed to be wired like the 6.0 DUH. I installed a new sensor and it is much better The hard starting is gone! I do have a stumble at times Hpoefully the relearn will help with that.

    I finaly have my cam position code sorted out!! I installed a new sensor & I had the plug wired for the 5.7 The 6.0 has a difrerant wire orientation. The hard starting is gone !!

    So far I still have the CMP code and some hard starting. I will try swaping the sensor out this week. Overall in my book this swap was quite easy, merging the two Wiring harnesses was not bad.     I switched the 12v and low ref wires on the cmp sensor, No change the came code came right back. Maby the sensor is bad or the relearn may help. It starts hard unless I crack the throttle a bit.

    Fabricated the throttle cable bracket from the oem bracket. The curise cable wont clear the breather line witout re routing or extending the line.
